These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the operator of CatchUI, a sole operator based in Hong Kong (the "Operator", "we"), governing your use of CatchUI, the pattern-capture web application available at catchui.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
CatchUI lets you upload interface screenshots, uses AI models to recognize reusable UI patterns in them, and helps you build and review a personal pattern library. Recognition results are automated predictions and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
You can use CatchUI without an account, in which case your library is stored only in your browser. Creating an account (via email sign-in link) enables cloud sync. You are responsible for the security of your email inbox, which controls access to your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
You retain all rights to the screenshots you upload and the cards you create. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service: to process uploaded images for recognition, and to store your cards (including image crops) when you use cloud sync. Cards you explicitly publish via a share link are made available to anyone holding that link until you unpublish them.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the screenshots you submit — do not upload material that is confidential, unlawful, or infringes the rights of others. We may remove published content that violates these Terms and may be reached for takedown requests at support@catchui.com.
You may not: circumvent scan quotas or rate limits; probe, disrupt, or overload the Service; use automated means to access the Service other than its intended interface; resell the Service; or use it for unlawful purposes.
Free use of the Service is subject to daily scan quotas and other limits, which we may change at any time. We may modify or discontinue free features with or without notice.
Without an account, your library lives only in your browser's storage and can be lost if your browser clears it. We are not responsible for loss of locally stored data. Sign in to sync your library to the cloud, and use the app's export features where available.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of recognition results, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or USD 10 if you have paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion via support@catchui.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; if we terminate a paying account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of the current billing period.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. If you use the Service as a consumer, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
